Treasure in the Discarded Refuse 2
It's the first day of the week and the morning seemed full of energy from the golden rays that peeked through the clouds, casting a warm glow on the landscape.
The dawn had finally faded, and the world awakened from its slumber.
She had a lot planned for the day. She planned to meet with about nine of her lovers, to go clubbing with her folks, to get new sets of clothes at the boutique and then to attend a birthday party.
She reached out for a glass of water, and just as she was about to take a gulp, she staggered, and this made the glass of water fall from her hands. She put her left hand on her forehead as if to squeeze it. She looked at the ground to see the mess she had made. All she could do was reach out to the chair next to her so she could sit.
In about 5 minutes, she felt better and started to clean up the mess she had made. Just then, her phone rang.
"Hey, James! Missing me already?" She asked, speaking over the phone.
"You know, it's been a while." James replied.
"I'll be there in 30." She said.
She got dressed. She reached for the door and locked it behind her.
As she walked through the corridor, she began to feel dizzy again, and this time it was intense.
"What's going on with me this morning?" She asked herself.
Soon, she started feeling nausea and ran towards the door, then dashed into the bathroom. Right in the basin, she vomited.
She rinsed her mouth.
"No, no, no. Not today! I can't afford to not meet with James." She said to herself.
"What is even wrong with me?" "Why this morning?" "I think it's best if I visit a nearby clinic."

"The test is ready, miss. Have it." The doctor said to her.
She reached out for the test results.
"Thank you." She replied.
"What! Am I hallucinating right now? This can't be! How is this even possible? Two misfortunes at once! I'm doomed!"
"Calm down, miss. I know how you feel. You'll be placed on medications that can help you manage the infection. And congratulations on the pregnancy. It's a thing of joy."
"No! This is misfortune! How do I go about my life like this? I can't be pregnant and have STI at the same time!
She began to cry uncontrollably. The doctor moved closer to her and began to pat her back.
"It's okay." The doctor said.
"No! It's not okay! You have no idea how big a misfortune this is! Why do I have to go through pain over and over again? Can't you perform an abortion? Please, help me."
"I am a Christian and also a professional medical practitioner. My faith and prof.....
She dashed out of the doctor's office before the doctor completed her statement.
